Running history/goals/motivation: I’ve been running ever since I can remember.  I’ve completed three marathons, two ultra-marathons, and a wide variety of other races.  My goal is to qualify for Boston in 2011 and run the Western States 100 in 2012. 


Top 3 Marathon Training Tips: 

1.    Run because you want to, not because you think you should.

2.    Cross-train, do track workouts, and do not over-train.

3.    On race day give it your all (without starting out too fast) – you want to cross the finish line with no regrets about your race.


Preferred Running Fuel:  A pre-run banana and sports beans

Famous person you'd most like to run with:  No particular person comes to mind.  I have a great bunch of friends I run with who keep me motivated and excited about each race.
